Halo
Torre Alain (Halo) is a Czech artist currently based in Australia. Her work concerns graven images and contemporary/historical networks.
She is the co‐founder and director of Solo Show, a placeless initiative that curates, supports, and interfaces offsite exhibitions around the world. She also directs Underground Flower, a visual research project that develops in the shadows until conditions on the earth’s surface cause it to rise as a sudden flower of flame.
Yubel
Hunter Thompson (Yubel) is an artist and writer based in NY, USA. His work concerns gifting, wishes, memory.
Sculpting can be defined as granting states where chosen wants are true; then stitching together that space wholly, fortifying it so it can be recalled when needed. He hopes to create gentle places for those without places to return to — striving for warmth, safety, grace, formed of prosthetic memories: love defined as the act of noticing — heartfelt letters to strangers, atom-sized stuffed animals.
